On the 75th birthday of Shri. Rasiklal M. Dhariwal, over 1 lac trees were planted in multiple cities across 4 states of India, under the leadership of Mrs. Shobha R. Dhariwal. The foundation continues to conduct tree plantation drives across schools, colleges, hospitals, social and religious centers, and highways. Planting one Mango and one Coconut tree per house in small villages, was widely appreciated. We not only plant but make sure they survive by making drip irrigation facilities available.

The RMD Foundation laid a 2 km long RCC pipeline in Baramati in (Maharashtra) that has rejuvenated the Wadhane & Vaki Lakes. This pipeline has help provide water to 20 villages comprising of over 2000 people who earlier used to be at the mercy of the rain for water. This pipeline has help boost agriculture immensely increasing Onion, Sunflower, Gram, Bajra Jawar plantations. Drinking water is now available to all the villagers who earlier had to walk great length to get water. Domestic and Wild animals have also benefit given the easy availability of water & the surrounding forests flourishing.

RMD Foundation under the scheme “Pulak Pyau” has implemented safe, clean and cold drinking water public facilities in crowded places like parks, Government Hospitals, Colleges in and continuous to implement the same based on need.

The Foundation, creates awareness about vegetarianism that helps maintain balance in the environment and reduces harm caused to another living being, we have seen a large number of people turn vegetarian when they hear Mrs. Shobha R. Dhariwal explain the same.

The Khadakwasala Dam, which supplies water to Pune hadn’t been cleaned for 100 years. In 2013, R.M. Dhariwal Foundation took the initiative of taking sedimentary deposits out of the dam water, which boosted the water-holding capacity of the dam. This fertile mud was distributed amongst nearby farmers and trees were planted in the vicinity. The foundation also constructed Shirpur pattern dams for the famine-affected areas like Shirur, which has proved to be a boon for the people of the region.

Shri Rasiklal M Dhariwal has spent crores setting up wind mill projects across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. With an objective of encouraging harmony in the environment, the foundation has actively participated in the national campaign of ‘Clean Energy, Green Energy’. Besides this, free solar lamps have also been distributed amongst Adivasis in villages.
