R.M. Dhariwal Foundation has always actively provided help during natural calamities. After a fatal earthquake in Latur, the foundation contributed to the Chief Minister’s Fund, built hostel to rehabilitate the earthquake-affected students.

Maharashtra has faced famines time and again during which the Foundation, along with government’s aid, has supplied water in tankers to number of villages, created cattle camps, provided fodder to the animals.

During tornado in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand and flood, the foundation has always stood by the people affected and provided food, shelter and necessities.

In 2001, the earthquake in Gujarat proved to be fatal where the RM Dhariwal Foundation generously contributed to the Chief Minister’s Fund for affected victims. The Foundation also sent trucks loaded with life-saving kits to 37 such villages, that helped 500 families.

The Foundation constructed 40 school sheds in earthquake-affected areas. The Foundation ensured that the schools reopened within 34 days of the natural calamity in Kodai, the major area affected by
earthquake.

Sou. Shobhatai Rasiklal Dhariwal Udyog Nagari established at Amravati (Vidharba) is a centre that uses raw material produced in Vidharba to make various garments from start to finish. This manufacturing facility that has employed over 2200 women set up exclusively for windows and unprivileged women so they can become independent. 

An Agriculture Knowledge Hub set up in Nimgaon, Solapur District that will help farmers to adapt to the changing environment, introduce them to modern ways of farming, guide them through picking the right seeds, make them aware of future challenges in agriculture and how to overcome them and teach them how to get right price for their produce provide.
