The R. M. Dhariwal Foundation believes that each one of us has the power to make a difference hence organizes blood donation drives on a regular basis. The foundation had its largest blood donation drive on Shri Rasiklal M Dhariwal’s 75th Birthday in 2014, across 25 venues in Pune where 25000 blood bags were collected in a single day making it the largest single day drive in Maharashtra. Number of renowned personalities like Yoga Guru Ayyangar, Babasaheb Purandare, Vikram Gokhale and Hrithik Roshan also participated in this remarkable event
The R.M. Dhariwal Foundation has also undertaken projects like donating Faco Machines for cataract operations, ambulances, grants for thalassemia patients and a monthly grant for insulin pumps for children affected with diabetes. Furthermore, financial aid is given to needy patients for surgeries related to their heart, kidney and brain ailments.
Several free cataract operations camps, artificial limbs implants (Jaipur Foot), regular camps for medical tests, infertility problems, squint correction operations, along with other cosmetic surgeries are held at various places on a regular basis.
Furthermore, free health camps are organized for dental and eye checkup of school students in municipal schools and villages where students are given free spectacles. Food grain distribution, sweaters and blankets during winters are distributed by the foundation on a regular basis. Dadavadi Sabhagruh, Pune was established on 29th October 2015 for the underprivileged.
